My daughter was seen for a suspected foreign body in her ear. Unfortunately, the experience left me deeply concerned as a parent. Despite ongoing symptoms and repeated concerns, I felt her condition was dismissed rather than thoroughly investigated. We were repeatedly told nothing was present, yet her symptoms continued. I understand that medical professionals may have differing opinions and that diagnoses are not always straightforward. However, families deserve clear communication, careful evaluation, and confidence that their concerns are being taken seriously. Instead, I left feeling unheard and uncertain that my daughter’s condition received the attention it warranted. The most troubling aspect was not a disagreement over medical findings, but the lack of accountability, follow-through, and compassion throughout the process. Parents place tremendous trust in healthcare providers, especially when their children are involved. I hope this experience encourages review and… improvements so that families feel supported, respected, and confident that their child’s wellbeing is the highest priority.
