Dr. Cyprian Alphius Gardine, MD

Dr. Gardine is an amazing physician. He takes the time to listen to his patients and answers all your questions. He is by far my favorite Doctor and simply the best Specialist I have ever been too. I have had issues with my hormones, insulin, and thyroid for over 15 years and he is simply the best doctor and specialist I have seen. I’d follow him anywhere. He respects his patients and treats them with dignity.

Went to first visit, after waiting 6 mths to get in. He listened and seemed to really understand my health dilemmas. He ordered blood tests which I had done that day and I am now waiting for my call back so I can hear my treatment plan. I hope the call back doesn't take too long.

After 25 years of symptoms, and no answers, Dr. Gardine finally gave me a diagnosis. I am comfortable with him, I don't wait long, everyone is friendly, and he takes time to explain things. He even follows up by phone when possible, which saves me from the 45 minute drive. I am selective about Dr.s, but so far I am very satisfied with the care I've received from Dr. Gardine.

They run a tight ship - keep on schedule and a characteristic I don't often find in a doc - he's an excellent listener.

I have never had a specialist spend so much time with me during an appointment. He actually listened to my concerns and did not rush me through my appointment time.

When a person doesn't feel like themselves and goes through several doctors to be told in many different ways that tests are normal and that you're fine it is difficult to be patient. In six months DR. Gardine offered me testing that I hadn't already had done many times and put me on a trial hormone! I feel 100% now and I haven't been under his care for even a full year yet!

I was referred to Dr. Gardine by my primary care doctor after some bloodwork showed levels outside of the normal range for IGF and DHEA. I use to compound topical hormones for several years and was concerned about exposure and really wanted to follow up with a specialist after the results. When I had my appointment with Dr. Gardine I came away feeling like I wasted his time. I'm 29 years old and I felt that I didn't fit the bill for his normal patient because I had no overt symptoms, I'm not diabetic, and I'm not elderly and therefore was dismissed. After the appointment he ordered follow up bloodwork which I completed and sent to the office which again showed higher than normal DHEA levels. After a week and half and two calls to the office he left a message with my results and said to call if I wanted to follow up with a functional test. Two calls and two weeks later no one has returned my messages. All and all I'm very disappointed with my experience. I went looking for guidance on… a subject I was unfamiliar with after results came back outside the normal range. As a person who has no medical training how am I suppose to know what's okay to let go if the results fall outside what's considered normal? All in all it was a negative experience for me and in the future I will just ask Google and save myself a copay.

Today was my first appt with Dr Gardine. He was very attentive, explained everything, and I am hopeful that he will be able to help me feel better!
