He seemed to be quite upfront and honest about how he wanted to help me find the right dosage for me, having had "too much prescribed over the last 20+ years"..."but it was really up to me how much I'd be prescribed". I told him how taking so much less resulted in my sleeping endless hours throughout the day, unable to focus, etc. After experimenting with levels of synthroid and cytomel, apparently he really didn't mean that it was up to me. It meant that he would drop me as a patient if I didn't fit the typical patient mold. After contacting him several times via the email provided through the clinic, and having waited a whole weekend to hear back from him after reporting that cytomel made me feel ill, heart beat felt odd, I finally got the notice in the mail that he cancelled my next appointment and that I should call. I'm no longer a patient of his. I hope to find a doctor who treats me as an individual instead of a number on a lab test result.
