Ask him if he's ever been arrested..........And why. I found this guy so creepy!

I was a patient of Dr. Tamboli for several years when he was at the University of Iowa. Why the terrible ratings? I was diagnosed with Crohns disease 25 years ago. He was my 3rd Crohns I ever had. Talk about success! I still insist to this day that my current physician utilize the same methods, medicines, and care the Dr. Tamboli performed. I had 3 resections, and 5 total surgeries performed before I met him. NONE SINCE. Be patient, follow a sensible diet, and cool your jets.

Very professional & one of the very best doctors I have ever experienced !!! Very caring.He changed my life for the better & has allowed me to do things again that I love !!

I did not like Dr, Tamboli at all. He did not help me in any way. All he did was tell me things that I did not understand. He has not stopped my bleeding and I am not any better at all.

Dr. Tamboli is an excellent doctor. He is professional and easy to talk to. My treatment plan has been a complete success. I can't understand why some people have rated him so low. Maybe just one person with a bad experience doing multiple ratings.

Dr. Tamboli works at one of the top teaching hosptials in the United States!He didn't get tenure by being a slack turkey! We, the patients are stressed, naturally enough, by the shape we're in and what we've got to go through, but--although not a patient of Dr. Tamboli directly--I've been through multiple GI workups in the same department he works in, and? I also am a transcriptionist for his clinical encounters and I can tell you from what I type: He knows his stuff. Now, some GI problems are at present intractable from a standpoint of medical knowledge. The patient must repeat MUST become involved in his or her own care and treatment including looking up drugs and side effects and diagnosis/treatment plan/prognosis. Without a doubt Dr. Tamboli operates within the law and within the confines of the M.D. scope of practice and FDA approval -- or he'd be GONE, gone like a cool breeze from the University of Iowa. But that doesn't mean he's the Wizard of Oz, or that allopathic medicine has… all the answers. I'm sorry for any patient's trouble, but? I myself had to find my way through my illness to recovery, now set about the business of doing the same and know that this doctor is all-pro.

Dr. Tamboli's treatment plan has been a complete disaster. I'm in worse shape than when I went to him--the high dose drugs he gave me caused other medical conditions. They will never go away.

This is a truly terrible doctor. He does not live up to his professional responsibilities. I wish I never would've trusted this guy. The damage he caused can never be undone. My life is ruined. He also seemed very nervous with sweaty hands and a squeaky voice.
