Dr. Dafna Lebow, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Lebow who was referred by my mom. I always had a problematic monthly cycle and was always looking for ways to make it a better experience for myself. I experienced debilitating pain, sweats, nausea, heavy bleeding, etc and Dr. Lebow, even after finding a fibroid, advised me to keep taking birth control pills to help manage it. She wouldn't even write me a prescription for any pain relief. She also told me there was nothing she could do because some women just have it that bad. Fast forward 1 year and I have passed out at work and have to taken by ambulance to the hospital. I had become severely anaemic from the monthly blood loss and I had no idea. I had 3 large fibroids and was advised to stop taking the birth control pills immediately. I had the NovaSure procedure done at another doctor's recommendation and have a new outlook on life. Overall, I felt Dr Lebow was nice enough, but she really let me down with my course of treatment.

Ive been going to her for 4 years, she always remembers me and my story and is always very happy for me. She will make you feel comfortable and is an awesome doctor.

Dr. Lewow is wonderful. She is the most kind compassionate careing physican , her office staff is excellent. Not a long wait .

Doctor Lebow is very nice and caring; however, some of her staff is negligent and rude. I was waiting for an authorization for a procedure for over two weeks and when I called the insurance, they told me they had just received the request. Meanwhile, whenever I called the doctor's office, the nurse asked me to be patient and wait. I wasted a very precious time when I could have being seeing by another doctor and feel better faster. Then, I signed a records release form, but every time I called them they insisted they had not received it. I had to take time off from work and go there personally to sign another request. Needless to say, during this process, I never complained. All I wanted was to be treated with respect and consideration. They simply do not care because they do not like their job. They are upset they have to be there. Her staff make doctor Lebow look bad, and they are the reason why I left her practice.

I hadn't been to an MD in severals years due to no insurance. but had gone to her in the past. I had an issue occur so I made an appointment and as a result need a procedure to be done. She was very concerned about my not having insurance and having to pay out of pocket. She went out of her way to make sure that I paid as little as possible. She made me feel very comfortable and seemed genuinely interested in me and my situation. My hat's off to Dr. Lebow.

I absolutely love Dr. Lebow. She delivered my first child and it was a great experience. She listens to you, is direct and very professional. I had to go to another Doc (went to memorial west- Horrible Experience! Hosptial is very overrated) when I had my second because she no longer practices OB...(was so dissapointed). As soon as I gave birth I came running back to her.

I think she is an excellent physician and I would highly recommend her.

BEWARE! In 1999, Dafna Lebow permanently disabled my baby during birth resulting in a brachial plexus injury. My daughters arm/hand is conpletely and totally paralyed b/c of this woman's mistake. We won the lawsuit but my daughter had to pay the price. Don't let her hurt your baby. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!
