Dr. Daisy Damasco-Gutierrez, MD

I would advise against seeing Dr. Daisy Damasco as a primary care physician. Based on my personal experience, she is not attentive to her patients' needs and fails to follow up on important health concerns. I had an annual check-up with her and even though my lab results were available ten days prior, she has not responded to multiple messages and emails regarding flagged items on the results. It seems that her only priority is maximizing profits, as she has been known to find different ways to charge both patients and insurance companies without providing proper care and attention. If Dr. Damasco is assigned to you, I would highly recommend seeking a different healthcare provider for your medical needs.

Dr Damasco was assigned to me as PCP at Perlmann clinic and I can’t help but feel like my only prescription drug (birth control) is being held hostage. I am young (20s) and healthy with no health conditions and Dr Damasco has twice refused to refill my routine birth control prescription until I see her in the office so she can bill my insurance for the office visit. Not a respectful or trustworthy way of running a practice. I also don’t enjoy coming in for annual physical because the office billed my insurances incorrectly which left me stuck with the balance almost sent to collection and took 6 months to fix their billing code to resolve the bill.

I had just been diagnosed with stage 4B advanced BLADDER CANCER, I was seen by the nurse practitioner on duty and he called Dr Gutiérrez in to check me as I was urinating blood and was scheduled for surgery the next day. Dr Gutiérrez took her time with me. She was very thorough even though I had walked in to see Dr Monahan who was on vacation. Dr Gutierrez is kind, patient, and a wonderful doctor. She is very thorough! Yes, she does test, but people’s bodies change especially if you have a catastrophic problem! Thank you Dr. Gutierrez, you are a wonderful, caring doctor. Really awesome I only waited 15 minutes and the service and staff were amazing. AMAZING!!!

If I could rate this doctor no stars I would. I would wait a long time just to be seen. But that is not the bad part. The worst part is the fact that my blood was drawn for nearly every appointment. I would have to continuously make another appointment to get results or a follow up. I was lied to about having multiple "conditions". I changed doctors and everything was false! She just wanted to have my insurance charged more. Not a genuine doctor. Some of the staff were extremely rude.

not recommended at all. Always waited an hour in the room after the thirty minute wait in the waiting room. She's never there to see you so you always get seen by the nurse and she takes little interest in you. They take blood every chance they get to charge your insurance. Worst thing was when they took blood after I had told them I had just eaten and were convincedi had diabetes and ridiculous levels of cholesterol and a bad liver. A subsequent test proved that was all wrong. They are lucky I'm too busy to sue.

-No eye contact-Did not introduce herself-Waited over 50 min in room to see her-You have to schedule another appointment just to get lab or referral results- to get more money from insurance-She does not do telephone calls-They do not have a nurse for telephone calls-They check your height every visit- even if its 3 days later for lab results-Poor standard of care for thyroid patients

the staff is so rude.. the dr barley knows what shes talking about!!! you always end up spending at least 2 hours there!!! the draw your bolld no matter what!!! just find any reason to charge your insurance more!!! please just dont do it!!!! the only good thing is they have an xray machine onsite but its a shame it goes to such waste on horrible drs!!!
