Dr. Daivesh Doshi

Dr. Doshi is a fraud. Went to New Island Hospital, a GHI participating hospital, through the Emergency Room. I never saw Dr. Doshi, just a nurse practitioner. He sent me a bill for $606.00, said he didn't accept GHI and sent me to a collection agency. After numerous calls to the hospital and insurance company, I spoke to Dr. Doshi and he told me to bother the hospital not him. He never saw me and yet billed me. The collection agency were savage and would never listen to a word. I wrote them six letters to no avail. What New Island Hospital is doing is fraud.

Went to emergency room, he did nothing for me, drugged me up sent me home and then sent me to collections for $25 when he never bothered to send me this bill. I paid my copay and my insurance company paid him but there was a charge they denied. He didn't have the decency to try and collect to me and just sent me on to a collection agency who harassed me and called me a thief and a liar. After my insurance company paid him the extra $25 his collection agency still won't leave me alone!!!!

this doctor should not be practicing. I wouldn't trust him if i were dying. emergency room copays were paid in full. I'm still receiving bills from his dr. affilliated office. scammmmmm
