Dr. Dale Buchbinder, MD

Dr Buchbinder was a very very good doctor in my experience. Some say they wait long to see him. I didn't but it may be because he doesn't make you feel rushed during your visit. He takes the time to answer all of your questions and is just a great calming force when you meet with him. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Buchbinder has absolutely no consideration for anyone's time but his own. He runs late EVERY appointment day. Sorry, but you can't have an 'emergency surgery' every single day. He is rude, which is about all I can say for his personality. He just seems to think he is better than anyone else. The staff does a good job of trying to run interference for him, but there is only so much they can do. I would recommend one of the other doctors in his group instead. I have seen two of them at various times, and have been quite satisfied. They are lovely gentlemen. Just skip Dr. Buchbinder and head straight for is partners.

The rudest doctor I have ever seen. Terrible bedside manner. Wouldn't provide the official name of the diagnosis. and when I asked his response was, "I told you, the veins don't work right". Responses to other questions are rude and not informative. Almost seemed like he was discouraging questions. Doesn't explain enough that I can understand exactly what steps we're taking as treatment for a very serious illness. There's definitely no chance of a doctor/patient team relationship with him. Sorry, I wasted time and money.

Dr. Buchbinder may run late, but what doctor doesn't. There were unexpected complications, but he and his associate, David Coll, addressed the problem successfully. He spent time with me after the surgery and explained what happened and addressed any question. I found a need to call him during the weekend via his answering service and he called me back both times in less than 20 minutes. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing vascular surgery.
