Being an orthodontist gives me the opportunity to help friends and neighbors live happier, healthier lives every day. I love what I do and couldn’t imagine a better profession! I enjoy getting to know our patients throughout their treatments and seeing their smiling faces after braces!
Education and Continuing Education
In order to become an orthodontist, I attained the following education:
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Heidelberg College, 1994
DDS, The Ohio State University, 1997
MS Certificate of Specialty Degree in Orthodontics, The Ohio State University, 2000
A lot has changed in my profession since 2000, and I always keep myself current with new and emerging orthodontic methods. As part of my continuing education, I attend national dental and orthodontic meetings, and I have been part of the committee that puts on our state dental meeting since 2008.
My continuing education allows me to listen to many dental speakers and keep current on new techniques in dentistry. I love …taking what I learn and implementing the most effective treatments into our practice. It is my responsibility to always provide the most efficient and comfortable services for our wonderful patients.
Professional Dedication
I have found that the people of North Central Ohio are hardworking, kind people who are a delight to know. I have been serving the families around here for over a decade and am honored to have made some lifelong friendships with my patients. I love taking the time to chat with my patients and make them feel totally comfortable in our practice. I enjoy listening to them about their concerns and excitement for treatment. I make sure all their questions are answered so they feel fully prepared to get the smile of their dreams!
I am proud to provide more than just braces for my patients. I am certified as an Invisalign® provider and I also provide TMJ/TMD and cleft palate treatments. Our practice provides an array of treatments to ensure our patients receive exactly the services they need. My talented staff and I work as a team to achieve beautiful results for our patients, and we are proud of the smiles we create.
I know that my patients come to us for beautiful smiles, but they also want a great experience. I am truly lucky to work with such a compassionate and caring team that I can trust to provide exceptional service for our patients. They do an excellent job of not only treating our patients, but caring about them as well. They always put forth the extra effort to make the orthodontic experience as easy and fun as possible. I am blessed to work with this talented, kind, and dedicated group of women!
Family Life
I grew up in a small town called Bergholz, near Steubenville, Ohio. My family includes my husband, Bob Haring, and my stepson, Michael. We also have two dogs named Woody and Toby. When I am not working, I like to be outside, biking, running, and spending time on the boat at my parents’ place at Atwood Lake. I am also active in my church.
