Dr. Finkbine grew up in Hamilton Ohio and graduted from The Ohio State College of Dentistry in 1972 before joining US Navy Dental Corp. During his time in the Navy, he was transferred to Charleston and decided to exit the Navy and establish a Private practice in 1974. Dr. Finkbine and his wonderful wife Ellen have been married for 41 years and have 4 daughters (Amy, Betsy, Megan and Joellen). The Finkbine Family remains extremely tight knit and ever expanding with 3 son-in-laws and 4 grandchildren. He has always been involved in organized dentistry and is a member of both the International College and American College of Dentistry. He is also member of the South Carolina Academey of Dental Practice Administration and the Pierre Fauchard acedemy (A dental honor society). He is a former member of the Board of Directors at Kanuga Conference Center and the South Eastern Regional Dental Testing Board. He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time.
