Dr. Dale Gary Jacobson, MD

Ridiculous advice. I am a patient of another doctor at this facility, but my doctor was out. I was just in to see my doctor a few days ago due to a back injury and called today for a refill of pain medicine. Since my doctor was out, the message was relayed to Dr. Jacobson to see if he would give me 2 doses of relief until I could see my doctor the next day. I was called back and told to take Tylenol and Advil as it's just as effective for pain relief as Hydrocodone. I understand there are drug addicts in this world that prevent pain relief for people that need it so doctors don't like to give pain medicine. And I understand that this doctor might not be comfortable in doing so. But to make a claim that Tylenol and Advil are just as effective as hydrocodone for pain relief for a patient he doesn't know is foolish. Maybe he's a good doctor for other things, but to have a doctor make this claim instead of just saying he's not comfortable giving me medicine reduces credibility in… my opinion.

I was able to get a same day appointment so waiting 10 minutes was nothing. The staff members are professional, kind and caring just as Dr. Jacobson was and always is. He takes the time to listen and explain things and/or options with me in a manner which I can understand and he has never rushed through an appointment like I've had another doctor do on occasion. Definitely a conscientious, caring, confident doctor in my book!

He is a wonderful Dr. Wish I had found him yrs ago! Very polite, caring
