Dr. Dale Mitchell, MD

I found him to have an uncaring, even rude, manner. As just one example, when I went in for the check up post-delivery of my first baby and asked how long until my privates would heal, he became very frustrated/impatient and said something like, "EVERYONE expects it to heal right away! Well, it takes time! Like it took time for you to get that way." I had just had my first child and was just asking a question that seemed relevant and important to me... I never did get any real answer and I left near tears.

Dr. Mitchell disregarded the questions I asked him in an off-handed sort of way. He is not personable and seems like he wants to get you out of there as soon as possible without fully discussing things.

Extremely unprofessional and ignorant. Did not order a single ultrasound since 5 months check up. Could not tell the butt from the head (the baby was breach) while doing a manual exam 2 days before the labor. Beware!!!

Dr. Mitchell is hands down the best ObGyn doctor ever. He delivered both of my children. My daughter has Downs syndrome and he was so supportive. He never makes a patient feel rushed.

I have seen Dr. Mitchell with the birth of my 2 children. He is very knowledgable and will take the time to listen to any questions. He does not push c-sections or inductions like most doctors do these days.

He does return your calls but his nurse will and she is very standoffish and cold. When i miscarried she wouldn't set me up for an appoinment to get a shot because I have A- blood and I need the shot within 72 hours. I would up calling 4 more times before i got a different nurse to finally agreee to me comeing in to get the shot. If i didn't get the shot it would raise my chances of having a second miscarriage. This to me was shear laziness
