Dr. Dale Alan Nester, DDS

All of us here at Nester and Bamfield, D.D.S., P.C. are very proud of our highly trained and skilled dental assisting team.  While not mandated by the State of Michigan, all five of our dental assistants have attained the highest level of professional training possible and are Registered Dental Assistants.  Each are certified in “Expanded Duties Training.”  Regular continuing education is required to maintain these certifications.  This is very comforting to the doctors and should be for you as one of our patients.  There are few dental offices that can offer this level of dental assisting services from 100% of their dental assisting team.
Elise Bierstetel
My name is Elise Bierstetel and I am a Registered Dental Assistant. I have been in the dental field since 1990 and have been with the practice of Dr. Dale Nester and Dr. Martha Bamfield since 1993. I am well trained in many expanded duties as well as orthodontics. I enjoy the positive impact I make in the lives of our …patient’s dental health.
I am married to Dan and together we have four children, my two daughters and Dan’s two sons. We reside in Ithaca where in my spare time I enjoy being outside gardening both flowers and vegetables. I love to work-out, run and stay in shape. I also like to camp and fish with my family.
Holly Humphrey
Hi! My name is Holly Humphrey. I am a Registered Dental Assistant. I have worked with the dental team of Dr. Nester and Dr. Bamfield since 1995. The reason I love my job is I get the opportunity to help create a more relaxed environment for each of our patients. 
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and teen-age daughter at our cabin. Together we love to go boating on the lake and jeeping on the trails in Northern Michigan. I also love keeping fit with kick boxing, strength training and other fitness regimens.
Maya Dennison
My name is Maya Dennison. I am a Registered Dental Assistant and have been a member of the dental practice of Dr. Dale Nester and Dr. Martha Bamfield since September 2002. 
I love my job! The greatest thing about my job is the family-like work environment and that our dental office is always up to date with the latest research and technology. I am blessed to  work in a place that has such a drive for excellence.
Outside of work I stay busy being a mother to a 4 year old boy. I am active with my church and enjoy outdoor activities.
Sue Morrison
My name is Sue Morrison. I am a Registered  Dental Assistant. I joined the team of Nester and Bamfield, D.D.S. in 2007. What I like best about my work environment is the professionalism and caring atmosphere.  I appreciate that my teammates function like one big family as we provide quality and comprehensive dentistry. 
I spend my spare time with my husband and children (a daughter and a son). We enjoy camping, swimming, taking long walks and playing badminton.
Hi my name is Tina Ostrander-Miniard. I am a Registered Dental Assistant and have been a part of the Nester and Bamfield team since 1987. What I enjoy the most about my job is that, as a dental assistant, it changes every day and with every patient. Each patient brings new opportunities to make the patient’s appointment better than they might have expected it to be. 
In my free time, I enjoy watching my children play sports. I love all outdoor  activities such as gardening, fishing and staying  active with my family.
