My grandmother is a current patient of Dr. Reno's. I am very sad to report that he has been cruel , uncaring, and unprofessional on almost every visit. He has told her that he does not want to treat her because of her cancer diagnosis. Though her cancer specialists at Ohio State University have prescribed treatment to help her be more comfortable, he has said you will die anyway and that feeling more comfortable is a waste of your time and money. He also told us that if the state of her soul was O.K., we would not want to alleviate her pain. It is not a doctor's place to discuss religion with his patients or to change his treatment protocol based on his negative perception of their beliefs. Finally, Dr. Reno often does not return my grandmother's calls and delays ordering her prescriptions because he is too busy. In summary, if you are considering seeing Doctor Reno as a patient, find another doctor. I do not want him to mistreat you or your family as he has mistreated us.
