Dr. Dale Ray Stierwalt, MD

I had a sinus infection but Dr. Stierwalt insisted I had pink eye when I had no redness or discomfort. I didn't feel good about the diagnosis.

I went for my first appointment and felt it went pretty good even though Dr Stierwalt was different than other doctors. He agreed to call in a couple maintenance medicines, said they would be there if I needed them. Apparently he didn’t like something I said and at the end of the appointment he said he didn’t think that was the place for me, that I needed to find a different doctor. I was shocked and questioned him and apparently he had a big problem with me not wanting to take antibiotics. I haven’t needed any in years but he didn’t like that and said if he prescribed them would I take them. I said if I needed them I guess I would but that I haven’t felt I needed them in the last 15 years. He was rude and said I had wasted his afternoon. All I wanted was a doctor to go to once a year for my bloodwork and if I ever got sick but he changed his mind toward the end of the appointment and said he couldn’t help me. I have never had a doctor treat me so unprofessional before.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stierwalt's for many years. He has always been very courteous and pleasant. He is very knowledgeable and his staff is excellent to work with! He gets to know his patients and always asks how their family is doing and really gets to the heart of the matter. Excellent physician!

Dr. Stierwalt has been my doctor for a number of years. I really like him and his staff. He always takes time to listen to me and he always treats me with respect. I think he has given me good health care through the years.

THREW ME AND MY SON OUT AND REFUSED FUTURE CARE FOR ME AND MY WHOLE FAMILY BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO LET HIM GOVE MY SON A SHOT. HE OVER GIVES SHOTS. WE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST AND HAVE NEVER WALKED THROUGH THE DOORS AND NOT BEEN GIVEN A SHOT!!! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! STORMED OUT OF THE ROOM AND MADE A SCENE IN FRONT OF HIS WHOLE STAFF AND OTHER PATIENTS. THAT TO ME IS TRYING TO FORCE ME INTO A DESICION BY TREATING ME HATEFULLY! ASK ANYONE....ANYONE IN THE RAINSVILLE/FORT PAYNE AREA ABOUT HOW HE MAKES YOU GET A SHOT FOR ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. IF YOU ARE OK WITH THAT THEN ALL SHOULD BE FINE, BUT IF YOU ARE NOT... DON'T GO THERE OR SAY ANYTHING TO HIM ABOUT IT OR HE WILL HURT YOUR FEELING, SCARE YOUR CHILD AND KICK YOU OUT! WITHOUT LETTING YOU SPEAK BACK TO EVEN APOLOGIZE!
