The staff at the office is very pleasant and helpful. Dr Westrom is very knowledgeable and efficient. He removed several spots from my neck and face. I would recommend this doctor to family and friends

misdiagnosis of actinic keratosis for squamous cell carcinoma. consequently needed mohs and reconstruction surgery.

I have had wonderful good works with him and hus nurse gets on the phone to take care of insurance assistance. My friend got an incorrect dx and was treated by another doctor. So, you cant win them all.....

I was really hoping to be able to write a positive review. After three visits to Dr. Westrom I have nothing positive to say about him. Each visit has been progressively worse. I only went to him because there was no one else available in our small town. THe third visit was to correct his poor services. He made it seem as if he was doing me a favor. He has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced with a doctor. Does not take time to communicate with his patients, quickly diagnoses (inaccurately), overcharges, and when asked for clarification or explanation dismisses you. He has a really condescending know it all attitude.My worst regret is that I also took my mom to him after my first visit. He made her feel terrible, she actually cried when she got home because she yelled at her. He inaccurately diagnosed her as well. A regular MD was able to prescribe an ointment that worked better for her.Some staff try to be helpful but the office manager does nothing but take your… complaint. Terrible customer service.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I have been a patient of Dr. Westrom for many years. I have found him excellent at all times. He has removed several skin cancers, including a melanoma. He doesn't spend a lot of time, but he spends enough time to do the job right, which I cannot say of at least one other dermatologist in Santa Rosa.
