I have been a patient of Dr Wheeland's for over 5 years. I think what I appreciate most is that when I am sick I call his office and they get me in the same day. I hate being sent to the Urgent Care where they basically never do anything for me and then tell me to see my own doctor. And when I go into Dr Wheeland's Office I actually see Dr Wheeland, not a Nurse Practitioner. Dr Wheeland rocks!

Every time I come to the office he is over an hour behind and spends almost no time in the exam room with you. I have never received a call back about lab results. I have to call two weeks after the labs just to see if everything was good. When you leave a message you never get a phone call back.

Dr. Wheeland has been my doctor for about a decade now. He's amazing! He's so compassionate, very caring, and I never, ever seem to be rushed. He takes the time and effort to really listen to my concerns. I am so grateful to have him!

The nurses are wonderful. The rest of the staff is not.The wait time is too long but the doctor is very nice and helpful.

I have to say that visitng Dr. Wheeland's Office always improves my day. His staff manages to be both professional and cheerful. I actually get to spend time with Dr. Wheeland, not a Nurse Practioner. Dr. Wheeland not only listens to me with regard to my medical complaints, but manages to explain things to me in a way that is meaningful and makes following his directions easier. Overall I have been very happy with the medical care he has provided to me and my family.

I have managed Dr. offices for years. Dr. Wheelands office is well run compared to most. Dr. Wheeland listens well, observes well and asks very good, detailed questions. I have seen him for injury, illness and preventative care. In each case he either prescribed tests and medications appropriately or referred out to specialists appropriately. In each case his "preliminary diagnosis" was accurate and he knew what would solve the problem on the first attempt, or, he knew what the specialist would find. In each case he was right. I highly recommend Dr. Wheeland and his office for prompt, excellent, appropriate care.
