He graduated from the U of A with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and continued on to earn a Masters Degree in Toxicology. It was during this period that Dr. Wheeland was first introduced to Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Wheeland graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Northeast Missouri and is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. After Medical School, he decided to return to his hometown of Tucson and went on to start his own practice.
