Dr. Damanpreet Grewal

It's pretty obvious to me that my horrible experience with this so called doctor taking care of my father was not a one off. It is terrible that a physician can be so useless and still charge your insurance while doing nothing to actually take care of your medical condition. She never came in to give us a plan, never tried to address any of the issue that my father really had and clearly could care less about it since we let her know that we wanted better care but she just didn't want to commit the time to be a good doctor. It's shameful for the whole profession.

I was following up on my colonoscopy, there was sever problem after colonoscopy but She was not ready to listen. Forwarded me some other department, though it was not applicable. Very unprofessional behavior.

She has no compassion, doesn't show empathy whatsoever. She is very unapproachable.

I also saw Dr. Grewel for a second opinion and if what ails you isn't inside the little box of how and what she's learned to treat conservitively she seems very uncomfortable. I don't think she reviewed the documents I brought her- maybe 5 minutes worth and she sticks close to only what the conservatives of her education has taught her. She didn't seem willing or capable of reviewing the other medical documents I brought her. Nor was she even able to move far enough from her limited box to even consider their could be other possibilities or alternatives. When challenged as to why a certain medication worked 6 times for a particular ailment she proceeded- with a straight face- to attempt to tell me it was a placebo effect. All 6 times! This is just one example of how rigid her thinking seems to be. If your symptoms fit into a nice neat box that fit perfectly with the theory of her education then she may be the doctor for you. But if you're in need of anything more I wouldn't waste my… time because she seems incapable of offering other possibilities. The positives were that her staff was some of the best I've ever come across and generally her personality is pleasant and didn't come off as condescending.

Dr. Grewal is one of the worst doctors I've had. She was a second opinion for debilitating GI symptoms and abdominal pain. She was completely dismissive and ordered test after test but the first thing out of her mouth was 'they are all going to be negative and your pain is a trigger point'. She diagnosed me with a trash-can condition and told me to take Benadryl. Meanwhile I couldn't even work and she didn't care at all. It turns out I had endometriosis and I had to diagnose myself. I am so disappointed. She lacks medical expertise, compassion, and ethics. DO NOT SEE HER.
