Dr. Damla Gulsum Karsan, MD

Dr. Damla Karsan is very attentive and truly professional in her approach. She takes the time to listen carefully and makes you feel comfortable and well cared for. Her entire team is also friendly, organized, and highly professional. I truly appreciate their dedication and would definitely recommend them to others.

Dr. Karsan and the other staff members I interacted with were very kind and personable. Despite feeling general nervousness about my appointment, everyone I came into contact with at Dr. Karsan’s office made me feel at ease. Dr. Karsan, in particular, showed genuine care about my wellbeing and was very sympathetic toward my personal issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Karsan to anyone looking for an OB/GYN!

Dr. Karsan delivered both of my children, and I have always received the best care from her. I have been a patient for over 17 years. Dr. Karsan is very knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. She takes her time and truly cares for her patients. Her staff is just as wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Karsan and her team.

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Damla Karsan and her entire team at Comprehensive Women’s Healthcare. From the moment I walked in, the front office staff was warm, professional, and efficient—check-in was quick, and they made me feel immediately at ease. Dr. Karsan herself was truly amazing. She spent an unusually long time with me, which is rare these days. She took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all of my questions with patience, and made sure I felt heard and understood. She has such a calming presence and is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. I never once felt rushed or dismissed—she genuinely cares about her patients, and it shows. The nursing staff was equally wonderful kind, attentive, and respectful throughout the entire visit. They helped make what could have been a stressful appointment feel comfortable and even uplifting. This level of compassion, professionalism, and thorough care is hard to find. I feel confident and reassured… knowing my health is in such capable hands. Highly recommend Dr. Karsan and her team to anyone looking for an outstanding OBGYN practice!

Reviews are usually not my thing BUT, I had to leave a review re. my experience with Dr. karsan. She is indeed that Dr. you will wish to be a patient to. Very meticulous, attentive, empathetic, reassuring, responsive, reasonable, knowledgeable etc. My procedure was quite complicated, but having Dr. Karzan talk with me as to what’s going to be done and explaining with such reassurance was beyond any experience I have add re.my interaction with may of those in the medical (considering I am also in the medical field). The follow up after immediately my procedure and and beyond was more than commendable. I really appreciate you Dr. Karzan. I am beyond grateful having you as my Dr. May you continue to exercise such amazing affection for your job, your patients and their well being, as well as remaining blessed all the day of your life. Everyone in Dr. Karsan's office is absolutely excellent. Yesterday I dealt with four different people, all of whom were happy to be there, extremely courteous, and very kind. I chatted with the front desk person, and the young lady who took my vitals and did my check in was one of the kindest people I have ever encountered in a Doctor's office. I saw Kathryn Ackerman first who answered some questions for me, and then Dr. Karsan came in and did my exam as well as reassuring me she could help me find a new internal medicine doctor and a gastro for my colonoscopy. Dr Karsan recognized my (newly diagnosed) scoliosis immediately and recommended a course of action. Dr. Karsan also addressed more general health care with me (it's time to start doing skin cancer checks) etc. I am very appreciative of both the general care level of her office and the specific care taken by the individuals who work there.

Dr. Karsan was wonderful about helping me with my perimenopause issues. She spent a lot of time with me answering my questions and I felt very cared for. She found some issues I wasn't aware of and now I can get help for them. The whole office is just wonderful.

Staff is very friendly and probably one of two places I went for gynecologists appointments as an adult where I didn’t feel judged or scrutinized. IE I am not trying to get pregnant, have never been pregnant, don’t have a partner at the moment - usually when I go to other places I am met with contempt as to why I am even bothering going to check if my vaginal health is ok or they still insist on and charge me for a pregnancy test even though I tell them I haven’t had a partner in a long long time and had my cycle recently. I didn’t receive contempt at Dr. Karsan’s office. My concerns were listened to and addressed, options were given as applicable. I was with a program that helps people access care for free so I cannot tell You roughly how much it would be with or without insurance. There is paid parking for that entire medical center: You park, scan a qr code that is posted in various places in the parking lots, fill the info they ask for like license plate, credit card, and… phone number to contact You and when You drive off You will receive a text message that Your parking session is done. Because of how the roads are near the medical center where Dr. Karsan’s office is located - You may want to slow down when You are close to make sure You turn to enter the correct place.

Dr.Karsan is compassionate and patient focused with care for the whole being. I love how she is willing to listen and give a truth to a struggle I have had with my weight for a very long time. One of the pieces of advice has stuck with me and I find my self making better food choices. Hopefully in a few months I can truly be proud of the efforts I’m putting that will have lasting effects for me and my family! She has amazing staff members also that I love keeping on their toes with my wild antics Dr. Karsan and Georgia and Katie will always have a special in my heart and family.

Her front office staff is very rude they harassed me to overpay wrong estimate for a long time until delivery. Once delivered they ended up owning me from what I had already paid. Dr herself didn't even see me until last month of pregnancy. She doesn't care enough to see her patients herself her nurses see the patients on regular basis . Regret going to her .
