Dr. Damon Lawrence Gatewood, MD

Very caring and thorough doctor. Spends the amount of time with the patient that is needed. The office staff as awesome as well! The time that is spent waiting is sometimes aggravating BUT- when he gets to you, you get 100% of his attention and as long as it takes to get you taken care of.

Have been coming to Dr. Gatewood for years. Very caring. The wait time is way to long. That is my only complaint. I try to come first thing in the morning.

DR GATEWOOD HAS BEEN OUR FAMILY DR FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS. HE AND HIS STAFF HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CARING. DR. GATEWOOD WILL SPEND AS MUCH TIME AS NEED TO HELP YOU AND ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT YOU MAY HAVE. IF HE DOESN'T HAVE AN ANSWER TO WILL REFER TO TO A SPECIALIST. HE ALWAYS ASKS ABOUT EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY AND REMEMBERS PAST EVENTS THE HAVE INPACTED OUR LIVES. HE IS MORE THAN A DR., HE'S A FRIEND.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gatewood's for 9 years. He has always been very easy to talk to and has made every effort to ease any discomfort I had. When he comes into the examination room, he acts as if you are the only patient in the building. I appreciate his patience, kindness and interest in my health. Dr. Gatewood is also my husband's doctor. When either of us sees Dr. Gatewood, he always asks about our family and our jobs. He is interested in the whole person. I would recommend him to anyone. I will never change doctors.

I Moved to the area about a year ago and struggled to find a Dr. That I was comfortable with as my previous Family Physician had been my Dr. for over 30 years. Dr Gatewood has been a blessing, he is exactly the type of Family Dr I was looking for to care for myself and my family. I highly recommend Dr. Gatewoods office.

I have been going to Dr. Gatewood for years and I find him very good if he can't help he sends me to someone who can.

I had a terrible experience with Dr.Gatewood. First of all he never listened or took me seriously about my health. I had high blood pressure for several months...I monitored my blood pressure on a regular basis and it was never normal. I'm a 40 yr old lady and my blood pressure peaked at 200/115. I called Dr Gatewoods office still nothing was ever done. When Dr Gatewood knew my blood pressure was out of control he said he wasn't concerned with that at the moment because I have anxiety....finally I ended up at the hospital diagnosed with a TIA....a mild stroke. I no longer have this doctor because after I was admitted to the hospital another doctor took over my care and immediately put me on blood pressure medication.....Its sad that there's doctors out there that won't listen to the point of putting your life in jeopardy.....good luck to others under this doctors care...I'm just lucky and thankful I didn't have a major stroke
