Dr. Damon Muir Walcott, MD

I was scheduled for a worker's compensation evaluation with him. I was nervous at first but his receptionist put me at ease. He was very sincere and through during the interview. I didn't like the psychological testing but he said it was a part of the process.

Dr. Walcott does not ask open-ended questions and this limits his ability to fairly assess patients. He is secretive with records, he has bursts of anger (possibly a testing mechanism), and he limits responses to questions that require more than a "yes" or "no" answer. His own examination is more like a deposition where the patient is on trial while he attempts to garner "Ah HA!" moments rather than ascertain facts to make appropriate educated assumptions.

Patient was treated poorly and with bias. What should have only taken a few hours took 6 hours. It was more like a cross examination than an evaluation. This types of testing/evaluation should not deliberately cause more stress to the patient, nor should they be made to feel humiliated.
