A HORRIBLE ORAL SURGEON !! I was Charged $400.00 for an X-RAY and this Dr. Smith has NOT given me the Report of My X-RAY. This is Not Only Unethical, It is NOT even Legal !! Every Patient has the Right to their Outcome of their X RAY and Their Report. There is Something Very Fishy going on in this Office. Every time I Call, The Receptionist keeps telling me that He is at the Hospital. Months have gone by and I still have No Report and have been in the Worst Pain of My Life !! This Conduct of Dr. Smith and his Receptionist is so UnProfessional as well as Unethical. My Opinion Is : If You Value your Health, Please find another Oral Surgeon. Dr. Smith along with his Receptionist are UnProfessional and Unethical .

I wouldn't recommend anyone to this office until they can answer the phones in a timely manner over 30 minutes of hanging up and calling back and still no answer. Hard to get business or patience when nobody answers the phone.

I had my Wisdom tooth pulled today at this location. I prayed and the procedure went smoothly. Dr. Smith is amazing, he went through the procedure before and every step of the way. The procedure was technical but Dr. Smith handled it well. The last time I removed a wisdom tooth it was pure agony from start to finish. I felt everything although I was numbed. My experience today was painless I was surprised when Dr. Smith said he was about done. I'm happy I didn't just follow the bad reviews about this office and shun them, but went and had my own experience. The staff there are amazing, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them anytime.

This man (Damon Smith) should not be in the medical profession. He is extremely inconsiderate and falsely claims to have understanding in dealing with people with special needs. He has no consideration or courtesy of peoples’ time or situation. He has no compassion for the actual needs of the patient. He seems to cater more to his personal interests and does not keep his word. We visited his office twice. First time, he claimed to not be able to assist, and the special needs patient needs to be sent to a hospital. After a year of trying to get another appointment, we finally got in. We were reassured that wouldn’t happen again and they insisted the patient would be taken care of in the office. Once again, the dentist wouldn’t even attempt to treat the patient. He claimed it was for the interest in the patients health. It seemed more like a preference to simply not even bother. He was so passive and showed no remorse for the inconvenience he caused. Much emphasis on this being a… supposed specialist who handles people with special needs. He has you wasting your time coming in to his office just to say you need to go somewhere else. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BEFORE HE WASTES YOURS!!

My wisdom teeth had been hurting off and on for years. I kept putting it off because I was scared. He took his time and explained everything. Felt very comfortable!!

I TOOK MY SON TO THE SUNRISE OFFICE FOR WISDOM TEETH EXTRACTIONS. WAITED OVER AN HOUR TO BE SEEN TO HAVE PROCEDURE DONE. DR. SMITH CAME IN AND STATED THAT MY SON WOULD NEED TO BE SEDATED TO HAVE THE PROCEDURE DONE AND THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY HE WILL DO THE EXTRACTIONS. IT WAS HIS WAY OF CHARGING FOR SEDATION AND NITROUS OXIDE (NON IV SEDATION) TO WHICH I HAD TO PAY FOR. I WAS TOLD THAT HE WOULD NEED SINUS LIFT/REPAIR, BONE SMOOTHINSG AMONG OTHER THINGS. HIS APPOINTMENT WAS RESCHEDULED. BEDSIDE MANNER WAS BLASE . POST-OP CARE WAS UNSATISFACTORY. BEFORE BEING SEEN, MY COPAYMENT HAD TO BE MADE UP FRONT, IN WHICH I PAID WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. AFTER INSURANCE PAYMENTS WAS MADE TO OFFICE, I NOW HAVE A PROBLEM GETTING MY REFUND FROM OFFICE. ITS BEEN APPROXIMATELY 5 MONTHS SINCE PROCEDURE. I WAS TOLD ONE THING, I WAITED AND WAITED. I CALLED AND CALLED AND STILL NO REFUND.
