Dr. Dampa Nikhil Shah, MD

I took my elderly mother to meet with Dr. Shah this morning and I have been raving about her all day. My mother has had a number of chronic conditions for most of my adult life and I have been her caretaker/interpreter for most of those years. As such, I have seen literally dozens of doctors with her. Probably more than 100, to be honest. Not a single one has had the warmth or sincerity of Dr. Shah. Dr. Shah immediately took about 15 minutes just to talk to my mother and get to know her. She did not ever appear bored, frustrated, or distracted. She even gave good personal advice about maximizing happiness and valuing family. My mother, who can be difficult to please, told Dr. Shah that she loved her and left the office with the biggest smile I've seen on her face in years. I trust Dr. Shah 100% with my mother's health, which is about the best thing one could say about a dr.

Only thing this doctor is good for is sending you to someone else to solve the problem and smile with a smug look on her face. No help at all I showed up with sprain foot on brothers and she never even asked to see it. Idk what doctors do anymore they act like social workera

I wouldn’t know how she is as a dr because not once was I seen by her at her practice. I always had to see the nurse practitioner who would constantly cut me off. The office is dirty. Feels like a prison. I switched drs.
