Dr. Dan George Addison, MD

I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Addison as our family doctor. Years of experience make a diagnosis pretty easy & he gives you choices as he talks about treatment. He's a wonderful person as well as a wonderful doctor. Bedside manner is great. Sometimes the wait can be long but that is because something has come up that he needs to address. I think we all want that attention when in a crisis, so I am happy to wait & read magazines or bring my own book. Patients can relax, knowing that they are in the care of a wise, caring physician with 43 yrs. of experience.

My granddaughter had a rare virus where she had swollen joints, hug fever and pain in her knees and could not walk. Everyone said she had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. He said he did not agree, did blood tests and it was s rare virus affecting joints. 3 days later she was fine. Loved his bedside manner with kids! Thank u so much!

Wait times frequently exceed 2 hours

Always an hour behind! My time is valuable too. Nurses are great but receptionist is rude. Good doctor.

Extremely arrogant and unprofessional. Overpriced and outdated service. Avoid this barbarian at all costs.

Dr. Addison is about the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendly doctor you could ever ask for, but the way his appointments are booked by his staff is abysmal.Over the last couple years, I've needed to make appointments at least once or twice a month. In each of those instances, there has never been less than a 2 hour wait between the time of my scheduled appointment and when I actually see him. In a handful of instances it's been a 3 hour wait, and in one case a 4 hour wait. The staff does not acknowledge this, and continues to book his appointments in TEN MINUTE blocks despite knowing full well that most appointments go well over that. I call before every one of my appointments and ask if the Doctor is running late; 9 times out of 10 I am told "no, he is on time". I then go to the office and sign in, and as usual, wait no less than 2 hours.

I think the office personel take to much of the Dr. resonsability. I have insurance now but that will change shortly when my wife retires, I cant get my pain meds without making an appointment all the time. Shortly I will not be able to see the Dr. every monthIam sure that if the Dr. is aked he would make a different decission. He is a very good Dr. and most of the time very understanding.
