The office staff is so rude and they can't schedule your appointment correct time.

My husband and I wish we could tell Dr. Gehlbach and his team thank you every single day for the little miracle that is growing inside of me now. Dr. Gehlbach performed a two and half hour laparoscopic surgery on my endometriosis. After the surgery we found out that IVF would be necessary to pursue our dreams of parenthood. We were scared at first, as any couple would be before such an expensive, emotional, and testing journey. After many IVF monitoring appointments the entire Midwest Reproductive Center team began to feel like family and the trust we had in them grew tremendously. Every single person, from the receptionist, to the lab techs, to the nurses, to Dr. Gehlbach, are professional, compassionate, educated, and responsive. My husband and I often talk about how fortunate we were to end up in the care of MRC. With our first round of IVF we became pregnant with our miracle baby. We couldn't have done it without them, and we are beyond grateful for his practice. We highly… recommend Dr. Gehlbach and his team to anyone struggling with infertility.

If you have EVER been seen here for ANY reason I strongly recommend that you call and see if you have money on your account that is owed to you.

I'm done going here. I've never even met the Dr once, just his staff. They wanted to put me on clomid right away with out any tests. They couldn't give me definitive answers on any pricy test I did nor thank about my results. Also, never did a full panel of hormones, just Vit-D, which you'd think is a no-brainier before trying IUI etc. The operator is very snotty and rude anytime I called. They charge for medical records, as if you aren't giving enough money to them. I'm now in the care of a Dr who's checking my hormones and making sure I can carry a baby to term and don't have endometriosis before sending me to expensive procedures that will more than likely fail, since they couldn't be thourogh and really care about our 'unexplained' infertility. Out for your money and there are better options out there who won't waste your time and money. Lots of money, frustrations, and no answers here on top of heartache from not being able to have children. Now I know why people fly to… cities like Denver to find better Drs when dealing with this. Don't settle.

love the staff. So far I have not been told to jump to IVF. Actually it's been the exact opposite. I have only dealt with Dr. G 3 times while going there, for procedures. I usually just see his nurse. Which is fine by me. She is very knowledgeable and has already discussed next steps and had a plan made with Dr. G before my appointment. Nothing wrong with that. The lab people are wonderful. Everyone there knows my name and greats with a smile. When we finally had a successful cycle, unfortunately I lose the pregnancy early. No one looked at me like I was pitiful, they didn't treat me any differently although they all knew. They didn't make a big scene or carry on about it. It was done. It was unfortunate, now it's time to figure it out, treat and continue. That's what I like to see. Overall. I don't mind spending my money here. I feel I am getting cared for and we will soon be successful.

If you want to go to a doctor just to waste your time and not properly diagnose you then you should go to Dr Gehlbach. I'm just glad that I didn't waste more then a few months going to see him before I went to find someone better. Twice his staff forget to call my prescriptions into my pharmacy and I needed them the very next day. When I called his after hours number to get this taken care of, he yelled at me over the phone. I went through one IUI and when that didn't work without even really seeing why it didn't work, he wanted to jump right into IVF. After all of this I ended up going to a great doctor who treated me for Endometriosis and I am now two months pregnant. So all I can say is please stay away from this doctor as you will only be wasting your time!

It took 4 years for my husband and I to finally conceive. However, we got lucky when it came to insurance and have full coverage for infertility. Dr. Gehlbach listened to our problems, listened to my ideas after 4 failed fresh ivf cycles, he was honest at out last what happens now appointment when he said we needed to change our approach and try another frozen transfer. Which he said he was sure would work for us. And it did. I'm now 8 weeks pregnant with twins. The office staff was wonderful. The all knew me and our struggles. I used both the north kansas city office and the Olathe office. I never waited more than 10 minutes. I called more than once with questions and always had them answered in a prompt fashion. They care.

I am really disappointed with this center. I was really excited about receiving ways to help with why I cant get pregnant. I have been now told that in order to take Femera I have to do the ultra sound and HCG shot. Where as my insurance wont cover the HCG shot or the ultra sound because its not diagnostic. So because I'm not willing to pay for that part, I'm not allowed to try just taking the medicine??? I think since infertility is already expensive, patients should be able to "choose" to just do the medicine. I am not impressed with the fact that as a patient a full panel of my hormones was not done. Just the thyroid. What about estrogen, or progesterone? I am just disappointed. Thank you for making this process that's already difficult even more difficult. The communication is not good with this group. They are out for the money. The north Kansas City office is awful too!! Definitely going to look for a different one! Stay clear of this center!!

Great doctor. I would highly recommend to anyone with reproductive concerns.

Dr. Gehlbach and his staff did a wonderful job of explaining our treatments and options with us. They took time to make sure you were comfortable and always returned calls during and after office hours. I would recommend Dr. Gehlbach, his nurse practitioners, and staff to any one with fertility issues.
