Dr. Dan S Hruza

My experience with Dr. Hruza was awful. He is rude and arrogant. He has no idea of how to be respectful and helpful. I would expect alot more knowledge and understanding from someone with his experience.

the procedure went well but not impressed with his explanations.

I had a colonoscopy and also a esophagogastroduodenoscopy (throat) procedure done by Dr. Hruza, at South Denver Endoscopy Center. The procedure went flawlessly, and I was provided a clear diagnosis. The nurses were outstanding (though that has nothing to do with Dr. Hruza). FYI - his bedside manner is nonexistent. I had to see a P.A. just to determine the initial problem and determine the need for a colonoscopy, and he has his nurses and PA's do all the talking. But I couldn't have asked for a smoother procedure.

I would expect a gastroenterologist to be well-informed about all digestive issues, as we know them today, or to be explicit in the limits of his knowledge regarding specific areas. This was not my experience with this physician. Dr. Hruza attempted to disuade me from believing in a diagnosis which I'd received years earlier and which had been proven over time through extensive testing as well as substantial relief from symptoms.
