Dr. Dan Vlad Iosifescu, MD

Dr. Iosifescu is an amazing psychopharmacologist. He is not afraid to think outside the box. He is very smart, professional, compassionate, and kind. If you are looking for answers, he is your man.

Dr. Iosifescu is perhaps one of the best psychiatrists in the country, in my opinion. He cares for his patients and is extremely professional. If your session is one hour, you will receive at least one hour of treatment/assessments. He is a researcher, professor and a clinician and is extremely knowledgeable about psychopharmacology. He thinks "outside the box" and is willing to try various approaches in terms of treatment. He's a little reserved at first, but as he gets to know you, he will initiate more conversations. He specializes in treating adults with mood disorders, but he treats many patients who may be deemed "treatment resistant". His fees are high, but they are worth every penny. If you are with Dr. Iosifescu you will be in good hands and he will provide you with treatment and guidance to help you manage your mood disorder symptoms. You will not find a better psychiatrist, in my opinion, than Dr. Iosifescu.
