OUTSTANDING times10. Best bedside manner I've experienced. Listened calmly and explained what I was experiencing with a respiratory issue. I was relieved with his diagnosis. Wish he was my general.

This is who every doctor should be. So smart. So kind. So humble and his bedside manner is the best I have ever known.! I was suffering. Walked in and he took care of everything I asked and more. He is awesome.

I came to the ER for abdominal pain, vomiting and fever. Within minutes Dr Katz diagnosed my gallbladder infection using his ultrasound machine. He managed my pain, found me a great surgeon, and got me admitted to the operating room quickly. He was kind and compassionate, very professional.

this doctor not only got paid via medicare, being a disabled person, he put me into collections for under $50 from 2007 (just got it today in 2012) and 38.00 from 2010 which i do not remember even going there. i do know that the er doctors at cedars have made me feel like a 2nd class citizen. it is a dirty mill with the very ill waiting in hallways while splinters and minor things are dealt with first. it smells and i wouldn't doubt if there is a lot of mrsa there. because of my horrific experiences with cedars, i only have one decent doctor, outpatient who is a wonderful caring human being, who does not go to the hospital to work. if i need an er, i go to any other hospital. a lot more people die at cedars than any other hospital in the l.a. county including harbor general which is for the indigent.

This Doctor was not only professional, but went above and beyond the call of duty. I had a bad dog bite to the hand, and he made sure I had the right antibiotics intravenously and kept checking up on me. I had to go back for 4 check-ups and he made it so easy and really put care and compassion into his work. That is so hard to find in a doctor these days. Not that he needs it, but he is by far the best doctor I have ever gone to.

I went to the emergency room at Cedars . Luckily my time wait was only minutes and I was lucky to get Dr Dan Katz. He was wonderful, I was scared and he got me through the entire ordeal . His bedside manner is great and he answered all my questions. Wonderful wonderful wonderful
