Dr. Dan Lender, MD

He takes the time to review the necessary data, determine if there are concerns, check how you are doing physically and personally. He suggests treatments and runs necessary tests. He remembers you as an individual and he partners with you in maintaining your health because he cares. In my book he does exactly what a physician should do and he does it with consistency.

Trying to get the staff to even pick up the phone is a nightmare. Have needed diabetic supplies, and can not get this office to ever send necessary paperwork to insurance. Dr Lender is wonderful, but this is possibly the worst office staff I have ever seen.

My wife had an appointment with Dr. Lender, first most information says his Dallas office is on Poppy Drive by White Rock hospital. It has moved to LBJ/Greenville. So, once we finally got there, we were still on time for the appointment. My wife's new insurance card has not arrived yet. But, she has the same plan I have just a different ID#. I told them call the Insurance Carrier number on my card and they could give her my wife's ID. They said without a hard copy of the insurance card they would not be able to see her. I happen to be a former Medical Office Manager and I know that this is untrue. Office wasn't willing to do the basic service of the front office. I advise not using them, no telling what the will screw and how they will lie to you.

The staff worked me into the schedule even though I was quite late as I had the appointment time wrong. Dr. Lender has a wonderful bedside manner and is very thorough. He listens attentively and treats his patients with respect. What more can you ask of a provider?

I have seen Dr. Lender once. Seemed very nice. Office staff is awful. They don't seem to know how to handle the phones. I have been trying for 4 days to have a new script sent over to pharmacy for my thyroid pills. They have done nothing. I've been put on "terminal" hold, left messages which have not been responded to and when I call back I get a recording that says office is currently closed.....at 9:30am? Get real. Looking for a new doctor again!

I saw Dr. Lender for an enlarged thyroid gland. After a discussion, and then an exam, he determined that I needed a biopsy. He talked me through the entire procedure alerting me before every step. "I'm just marking the spot...This will feel cold...You may feel a bee sting." I definitely recommend him.

I have been a diabetic for the past 55 years and Dr Lender is a wonderful part of that life. He is kind, helpful and his staff are the best.

Fantastic experience

I saw this so called Doctor yesterday and my visit was ridiculous! He asked me 5 questions said no, that's not it, walked me to the front and told his staff no follow up. I've never had this bad of an experience with a Dr. Just giving heads up for anyone thinking about seeing him. Stay away and don't waste your money!

Wait time in Lobby is riciulous. Waited so long we had to ask for crackers/juice as my husband was fasting and his blood sugar plummeted. Dr office staff is rude and inattentive. They do not call to follow up after bloodwork or share bloodwork results during the appt. bloodwork was complete weeks before the appt and they could not locate it.
