Dr. Dan Ngoc Luu, MD

I have a thyroid condition that requires medication, and in the past three months my right shoulder has been dislocated over 10 times. An MRI showed rotator cuff and labrum tears with severe inflammation. The soonest appointment for the Orthopedist is two months away. I've needed a GP and chose Dr. Luu not really expecting much. She spent over 90 minutes with me. She had blocked this large amount of time to "Get to know you so I can best help you." I'm used to doctors who don't make eye contact, breeze in and out so quickly I never have time to tell them my concerns and in general make me feel I'm annoying and inconveniencing them. She has compassion, knowledge and honesty. She even called me to let me know she'd contacted the Orthopedist I'm waiting to see and provided him with the MRI of my shoulder, stressed the severity of my pain and requested I be given a sooner appointment if at all possible . She even scheduled a complete physical and comprehensive blood work up in two… weeks. There are no words that can adequately describe how much she helped me. Dr. Luu has restored my faith in doctors. I wouldn't have believed any of this to be true if told, but I actually experienced it. I STRONGLY recommend Dr. Luu and her excellent, caring, highly efficient staff.
