In keeping up with the latest trends in dentistry, Dr. Dana takes a large number of continuing education courses. She also regularly attends meetings of the Hillsborough County Research Clinic and other local study groups.
Dr. Dana has lived in Transylvania, Casablanca, Morocco and California. She is fluent in German, Romanian, French and English. All these experiences help her to understand and communicate with people from different backgrounds.

If you have ever seen or heard of the television show "Extreme Makeover", you know what a tremendous difference cosmetic dentistry can make in a person's appearance.  Some dental makeovers are not "extreme" - often relatively minor procedures can create positive results. Dr. Dana's expert services can make the difference, both in your appearance and in your experience in her dental treatment chair.
Dr. Dana and Carrollwood Dental offers her patients a beautiful smile to be proud of in an environment that is just as beautiful with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
Carrollwood Dental is a rarity, with not only professional services, but so much more. Instead of the sterility of a formica waiting room, you are greeted by name, with a smile, and seated in comfort in a "sitting room". Jennifer asks if she can get you anything, "Perhaps a bottle of water?"
In very little time, you are escorted to a state-of-the-art dental facility where a preliminary exam takes place. It is quite thorough and relatively pain-free. Each step of the process is explained by the assistant until Dr.Dana enters, consults, gives you further information and then begins work, usually with a novocaine injection or two (or three). She allows you to "marinate" (very unlike the "treadmill dentists" I've been to) so the drug has taken effect by the time she begins work. Oh yes, and by-the-way, you get a paraffin treatment (complimentary) on your hands while the novocaine takes effect.
It doesn't get better than this at the dentist! Thanks Carrollwood Dental!

Dr. Dana is the BEST dentist I've ever been to.
I was deathly afraid of dentists because of my past experiences. However, when I first met Dr. Dana, she put me at ease immediately. She has excellent people and dental skills. I have found my experience to be quite pleasant. I have been going to her for several years now and will continue to do so. I have referred several of my friends and my son to her. Also her staff is very friendly and courteous.
All I can say, is if you are looking for a nice, caring and great dentist, Dr. Dana Cuculici is the ONE!
