Dr. Dana Kristine Davis, MD

My experience with Dr. Dana Davis was the most disappointing visit I have ever experienced in over 60 years with a doctor. She did not listen, make a diagnosis, or offer a treatment plan. When I pressed the issue, she told me to see a specialist and left the room. The visit was completely worthless. I then went to another Urgent Care Center and was seen there by a PA. He listened to me and after a thorough exam and testing, he came back with a diagnosis and treatment plan. This probably kept me from going to ER over the weekend. I did follow up with my Primary Care Physician, and he confirmed the PA’s diagnosis and treatment was right. The PA did for me what the doctor failed to do, and would not recommend Dr. Dana Davis.

My experience with Dr. Davis was disappointing. I went to Urgent Care for a serious issue. With it being Friday, I did not want to end up in ER on the weekend. She did not listen to my concerns, ran one test, and came back to tell me I didn't have an infection. I never thought I had an infection, and she did not address the issue. When I pressed her, she told me to see a specialist and left the room. From there I went to the Warren Clinic Urgent Care in the Springer Building and was treated my wonderful man who was a PA. He listened, agreed there was a problem, and ran additional test. He even told me that I would not be leaving until he had some answers and could recommend a treatment. After many more tests, listening to me, and a thorough exam, he came back with a diagnosis, a treatment plan which is helping and probably kept me out of ER, and told me to follow up with my Primary Care Physician on Monday. Today I saw my Primary Care Doctor. He too ran more tests,… listened to me, and gave me a thorough exam. He felt the PA made a right diagnosis. We are continuing on with PA's treatment plan unless the additional tests show something else. Of course, my Primary Care Doctor will follow up with me. However, he was very impressed with the work and care provided by the PA. It was the PA that did what Dr. David didn't do. Either she didn't care, or she is an incompetent doctor. She definitely has issues, and I would not advise anyone seeing her.

I've never been spoken down to as much as with Dr. Davis. I can in seeking some help and was treated like a child, she was rude and angry the entire interaction. If you're having a bad day, please don't take it out on your patients, who are also having bad days.

After a fall I was assigned to Doctor Davis at the St Francis Urgent Care Center. She ordered X-Rays and explained the results to me. so that I could understand them. She is friendly and a true asset to the St Francis Health Care system.

I will never go to the urgent care and hope I never have to see Dr. Dana Davis. I could hear her in the hall making fun of me. Then saying something about these blue collar people. I would like her to know it is us blue collar people that pay her bills!!!
