Dr. Dana Beth Jacobs-Kosmin, MD

I have been seeing Dr Jacob’s - Kosmin for about a year. She listens to you n asks if u have any questions. She doesn’t rush you or make you feel like you’re taking up her time. Dr Jacob’s- Kosmin has helped me with my issues. I’d highly recommend her if you’re looking for Dr to help you.

I totally agree with all the negative reviews. Lousy bedside manner, condescending, and rude. I left two messages before my last appointment, explaining a certain situation. The desk did return my calls, and gave me answers. When I went in for the appointment, Kosmin acted like she knew nothing about it and I should have come in sooner to talk to her. For what reason?? Money?? There was no other reason for me to see her before I actually did. I don’t know why I stuck with her so long. But I won’t be seeing her again.

This doctor is very uncaring and will not even return a phone call. I was with Dr Lopatin before he retired. He was wonderful, a very caring doctor. I was then given Dr Kosmin, a very stark difference. The doctor is cold and not acceptable as a doctor. Not going back!

Dr Jacobs Kosmin is just terrific. She’s not afraid to push forward and try new things. I’m so grateful for finding her.

I was much happier with Doctor Kosmin after my second visit as she explained my bloodwork results and seemed like she would help with my arthritis and weight loss.

This doctor has a condescending demeanor. I tried to give her multiple chances and she isn’t having a bad day she is just a bad doctor. I will be going to another provider. Maybe she will work out for other patients but not for me.

She does not listen to her patients and insisted I have biopsy instead of waiting for blood work!!! Then without my knowledge even booked an appointment for it which was a surprise that you don’t even consult with patient before you do this, I am sorry this is not right!!!!! Other Drs in that practice are fine but I will never go to her again!!! Thank you but no thank you!!!

I saw Dr. Jacobs-Kosmin for the first time today. She was incredibly warm and compassionate. She really wants to work with me to figure out what is wrong , but in the meantime has offered support and wonderful strategies for dealing with pain. I , at no time, felt belittled or dismissed and found her bedside manner perfect.

Dr. Jacobs-Kosmin thoroughly reviewed my situation and made a recommendation for me to see a specialist at Penn as she was not an authority on my condition. I asked if I should call Penn and Dr. Jacobs-Kosmin said she would as she could get me an appointment faster. 45 minutes after I left her office Penn called me to schedule my appointment. I can not thank her enough for handling my situation with great care and urgency.

I have been treating with her for about 8 months. The doctor quickly diagnosed my underlying disease, her treatment is working and she has carefully managed my pain. On average each visit with Dr Jacobs-Kosmin lasted about 20 minutes, including explanation of test results and examination. Unlike most specialists, she has treated the whole patient and has significantly improved my quality of life.
