Excellent surgeon!!!

Dr. Mears did both of my total knee replacements. I am so happy with the results and living a pain free life! He is the best, so glad he did my surgeries.

Worst thing I ever did was trust him with with his MIS-2 procedure. Over Six years later I can barely walk thanks to him. During the surgery he made my leg longer and stretched my tendons to the point I'll never be the same.

Cannot believe how smoothly Dr Mears did my total hip replacement. From beginning. To end had such great confidence in him and 3 weeks later back to living a pain free fulfilling life . Love him and the procedure.

Dr. Mears is amazing. Wouldn’t go to any one else. He did both of my knees. Wonderful results. Pain free!

Had two hip procedures performed by dr mears doing well as my wife approached me concerning her right knee the thought of going to see dr mears for her knee was the only thought of who should perform her knee procedure. Am traveling 110 miles to Pittsburgh from Bridgeport wv ? Let me also state there is a state of the art hospital three miles from my home yet feel dr mears is the man.see you soon dr mears and yes for all you have done for me I again will accompany my wife as she did me both times I saw you for my hips just to give you another huge hug and to tell you thank you again

I was in a mva 1980 two weeks before my 21st birthday. The Drs at Mon Valley did what they could. Broken r femur in 2 places and a crushed r ankle. He had to take the rod out of my femur because the bottom healed, but the top wouldn't. It was the wrong rod. He had to redo the surgery on my ankle. Dr. Mears is honest, direct and to the point. He speaks English to you so you understand what's going on. I would never trust anyone else. I moved back to Pittsburgh and a dr lied to me saying he was still in NY. I made the appointment but soon found out the lie, canceled and went right back to Dr. Mears. I live in Vegas now and need a hip replacement. Yep, on my way back to Pittsburgh. No one can touch me but him. In the reviews below, everyone's experience is different medically, but you can NEVER SAY he lied to you about anything. He's been my doctor too many years. I know him. You do the math 1982 until now. He also saved my brother from losing his right arm. He only had 2 inches of skin… holding his arm to his body. Dr. Mears saved his arm AND he was able to use it to the fullest AND he could still write. I'm sorry for the negative reviews, but trust me, to those few to the COUNTLESS EXCELLENT surgeries.... You can't beat him. DR. MEARS YOUR A BLESSING.
