Dr. Dana Bishop Sarvey, MD

I was in the ART program at McLean in desperate need of a medication change. Dr.Sarvey not only took the time to talk to me in depth about my illness's and treatment, but she also took the time to discuss my curiosities surrounding other mental illness's. She was incredibly kind and thorough in her appointments with me. Thanks to her and a fantastic resident I am on a set of medications that seem to be doing a fine job. I will never forget her or how she helped me.

We needed a psychiatrist to help our son's attention and focus issues. After many phone calls, we found Dr. Sarvey by luck, as she returned a call made to a hospital clinic. She sounded smart and, down to earth. We had some skepticism and heard some horror stories about bad child psychiatrists, but liked her at the outset. She diagnosed the issue after only a few visits (unless others who wanted weeks of talk therapy). When there was a problem after an initial dosage, she called us withint five minutes after we messaged her on a Friday night.Dr. Sarvey has an excellent way with children and our 8 year old loves being with her. At this point, we are very happy to have her as our child's psychiatrist.
