Dr. Dana Doan Ai Tran, MD

Perhaps Dr. Tran does well with textbook cases and uninvolved family members. If you happen to be the parent of a special needs pt with a rare disorder and several medical anomalies, expect to be treated rudely, disrespectfully, and with condescension. If you happen to be knowledgeable about your family member’s condition, expect sarcasm and ridicule as well. In my daughter’s 34 years I’ve dealt with more medical professionals than I can count, but I’ve never encountered a Dr as arrogant, argumentative, egotistical and unpleasant as this one. I refuse to ever entrust my daughter’s care to her again. St. Jude’s has too many outstanding , caring, and respectfully open minded drs for me to settle for being bullied by Dr. Tran. Can’t say enough about how grateful I am to every other Dr I’ve dealt with there - they are the reason my daughter still thrives; the nurses, too. But Dr. Tran is a big Nope for me.
