Dr. Dana Brooke Zanone, MD

I have been a patient for Dr Zanone for years now. I read the previous reviews and noticed they are complaining about the staff at Regional Physicians. The reason for that is that they had a couple of key people leave and go to another job. I know both those people and neither left due to the job, it was due to more money and better benefits. The rough period has been in getting the new staff trained and it much better than it was. Dr Zanone is great doctor. She is probably one of the nicest doctors I have ever had. She is great with family members of all ages. I have more insurance problems than anything and Dr Zanone has been great helping me hunt down the best way to use my insurance.

The staff and office as a whole has just gone down hill. I have been a patient of Dr. Zanone's for years, Im currently looking for a new physician.

While Dr. Zanone is a decent family doctor, her staff leaves much to be desired. My wait times have improved, but getting and appointment or even a return call is cumbersome. The head nurse in the office is atrocious. After a neurosurgeon, orthoepaedic surgeon, and Dr. Zanone all advised pain meds were in order for my condition, the nurse advised I had no pain and should not even ask for medication (in her opinion). BTW, I am a candidate for surgery, based on the specialists' advice (will not say the condition, lest the nurse read this and single me out). The same nurse advised me to go to the emergency room for a non-emergency since it was 4:30pm I was trying to schedule an appointment for the next day). Who advises ER for non-emergencies!!??? ER is the biggest waste of $ and time. Staff does not hide that they cannot stand me because I speak up about poor quality of care.
