Dr. Krutzfeldt grew up in Waterloo, Iowa. She attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutions Management. Dr. Krutzfeldt worked as a catering manager for Aramark Corporation at Pioneer Hybrid in Johnston, Iowa and then managed Rock Bottom Brewery and Restaurant in West Des Moines, Iowa. After several years in the restaurant industry, Dr. Krutzfeldt began dental assisting for her father, Dr. Frank Wingrove, in Ames, Iowa. It was during this time she determined that dentistry was her true calling. She returned to school to gain her Doctorate of Dental Science from the University of Iowa in 2007.
Dr. Krutzfeldt’s care, compassion and desire to help people inspired her to gain employment at Primary Health Care in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was the primary dentist at the community health center for two years. New opportunities lead Dr. Krutzfeldt to the Quad Cities in 2009, where she joined Dr. D’Souza in …private practice.
Dr. Krutzfeldt is licensed by the Dental Board of Iowa and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, the American Association of Women Dentists and the Academy of General Dentistry. She also participates in the I-Smile program and the Give Kids a Smile program.
When Dr. Krutzfeldt is not working she enjoys running, traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband, Paul, and son, Henry.
