Dr. Dang Nguyen, MD

I saw Dr Nguyen 4 years ago and again recently while hospitalized. He is professional and personable.

Very professional and courteous.

I was super scared before my procedure, but the entire staff, from intake, to the interaction with Dr. Nguyen, to the nurses and anesthesiologists, put me at ease. They were so attentive and thorough.

Dr. Nguyen performed two EGD on me. The first one identified my gastric cancer and the second helped identify blockage concerns. Both procedures were performed without incident and the doctor explained his findings with great clarity. I wish he were my GI doctor.

Obviously not a "people person" and should be off doing research or anything except seeing patients. Makes only minimal contact -- both eye and verbal contact -- with patient. Shows no care or concern, no feeling, no compassion, never smiles, answers questions with only yes, no, makes you feel like you are wasting his time and his whole demeanor conveys he doesn't want to be there with you, the patient. Unless you like feeling uncared for and you like talking to an iceberg, find a doctor who shows signs of care and concern for you. This guy is a technocrat. Period. He should be fixing machines not human beings.

This effective, efficient doctor made sure I received excellent care before, during and after the procedure. Thank you Dr. Nguyen.

Dr. Nguyen is an excellent physician. He is very knowledgeable and patient. His staff is also very responsive and kind.
