Dania A Shakaroun, MD

Dr. Dania Shakaroun is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine, pulmonology, and sleep medicine. She earned her medical degree from the American University of Beirut Medical Center, where she also completed her initial residency training in 2016. Dr. Shakaroun furthered her training with a residency at Henry Ford Hospital in 2020, followed by a fellowship at the same institution in 2023. With nine years of medical experience, she brings comprehensive expertise to respiratory and sleep disorders. She is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Dr. Shakaroun practices at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and Henry Ford Medical Center in Taylor, Michigan. Her clinical focus includes treating obstructive sleep apnea and sleep apnea in both adults and children. She performs diagnostic procedures such as skin and wound cultures, sputum cultures, and various pathology tests to help identify and manage respiratory conditions.
