Dr Austin performed my hysterectomy, which I put off for a long time, with no pressure from Dr Austin. It did reach the ploint where it became necessary and I felt Dr Austin always explained everything thoroughly to me and I was confident in the decision to have surgery. Having had endometriosis for many years, and some other health issues, there were possibilities of complications. I always felt Dr Austin considered every detail and customized my care to my individual needs. Everything went very smoothly and 3 weeks out, all my steri strips are off and I can see my incision, 6 inches, my uterus was very large. I am amazed how clean and tight my incision is. The scar once it heals will be a very fine line. Dr Austin does exceptional work. He is truly an excellent doctor. Also has excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend him .

Only parenting magazines in the waiting room. Doctor gets angry if you look into anything on the internet or at the library. Appears to not like women - or maybe this is only if you are "defective" and not able to have children.

Well, I went to do an infertility workup but he never performed a laproscopy. Turns out, I had severe endometriosis that could have been diagnosed with this. Instead, a couple years later, I am now recovering from a hysterectomy and was told my endo was amazingly bad. Wish Dr Austin would have ordered a lap instead of telling me my infertility was unexplained.
