Dr. Daniel Porter Barnes, MD

If Daniel P. Barnes is anything like his deceased father R. I certainly not use him. Several years ago, now - my dad and I were told of a new removal way by R., but the bad news is my dad's issue returned in about 6 months. I researched why this happened known issues this way, but allowed more surgeries per day versus old way. Had my father been told everything and the risks I have no doubt he would not have made another decision. Of course, your choice, but I do hope my review is helpful, and I recommend you always get a 2nd opinion.

This is a terrible doctor we should have sued for gross malpractice. My husband had a growth in his bladder that turned out to be cancerous. After a botched surgery resulting in a tear in his bladder, he suffered from pain, infections and neglect. Barnes wanted to remove his bladder...said there was no hope. We switched doctors and my husband has his healing bladder. He is nearly back to full health. Please do not go to this doctor. There are professional ethical doctors out there. There is a world of difference between barnes and the present physician.

Efficient staff scheduled my surgery the same day as my appt after I had waited nearly two months on scheduling a very simple surgery with another surgeon. Dr. Barnes was kind and informative and answered all our questions! Would highly recommend!

After a wrong diagnosis from a different doctor, I was very lucky to be referred to Dr. Barnes, I feel like he probably saved my life!

Following a surgical procedure which he botched, I made an appointment with his father (a really good and caring doctor who was in the same office) that I had known and trusted for many years. When I got there for my appointment, they tried to take me to Danny's side of the office. I told them I would never see him again and my appointment was with his father. They told me I could not change doctors and would have to see Danny. I'm afraid I told them what they could do with Danny and left never to return.

We had an excellent first visit and I would highly recommend Dr. Barnes and Urology Associates to care for your family!

Dr. Barnes corrected a lifelong problem that I have had since the age of 9. I had no pain post operative from a recent surgery. He is a caring and very professional doctor. He and staff are very kind and his MA Patrice is great at her job. I would like to see the same MA as well as the same doctor.

Completely botched circumcision which caused almost total reconstruction at a hospital during a 2 hour surgery. Don't believe if told "this is latest and greatest" way

Had surgery to look at j kidney no follow up call or appointment

Best Dr. would tell everyone to see him.
