Rude and unhelpful. Also completely wrong diagnosis.

"doctor" Belin was the worst physician I have ever seen. He was rude, condescending, belligerent, and very rough in his exam. In fact my wrist hurt for 3 days after seeing him because he jammed my hand back so hard. Would not recommend. Awful, horrible, mean, nasty person. Not sure why he is a doctor.

Upset patient.. My friend and I saw DR BELIN in November. Thought he would be good since he was middlesex hospital. Awful appointment, misdiagnosed, left in tears. I have to see another rheumotologist at UCONN health center, since DR BELIN was of no help, only frustration. Please read other reviews.

Took detailed history. Good exam. Better than what I have had in the past. Would definitely recommend.

I felt like I was talking to a robot. Any time I would explain my symptoms he would shake his head as if I didn't recite the textbook right. When I tried to ask questions I was afraid I was going to set a time bomb off. I realized I was through with this guy when he yelled(and I mean yelled) at me over the phone for asking for more help with the pain I was experiencing.

Thorough without ordering unnecessary tests, remembers comments and conditions from visit to visit, gives good explanation for recommended course of treatment and is economical with my time (and his) without making me feel rushed.

Belin is the best. Some may find his manner and humor dry, but who cares? I want a doctor not a comedian! He is a Harvard educated doc who knows his stuff. Explains the issues, is candid in his assessment, and is thorough in his knowlede and approach.

Treats patients like they are stupid. Sees no connection between nutrition and medical issues. Not receptive to patients comments or feedback. There is no wait for appointments and once you are there because few people go to him more than once. Some what of a condescending, old world, sexist doctor. Poor man.

he is a mean viscious man,almost evil.from the moment i walked in the office it was very quiet like no mans land,no nurse just the receptionist to bring you to the room weigh you in.kinda of but whatever.then he walked and and i most certinly wasen't expected what was to come.i told him i was 31 y/o and my doc and 3 others at her office and been treating me for fibromyalgia and just wanted me to see him to be on the safe side.he was so nasty!condescending and mean.i told him i was a CNA and after insulting me he ended by saying "only a CNA" and laughed.whatever.he was that the the whole time and questioned everything i said like he didn't believe me!the exam was next and he threw me around like a ragdoll,i was crying because he was so rough and the man had no compassion.he told me i had bursitis and take motrin after telling him the motrin didn't work and my doc put me on ultram,he preceded to say idk what she said you don't need it!i'm telling you i left in tears not just in pain,but… fustration,outrage and feeling humiliated!my doc did warn mewhat her other pts have said about him but just told me to try him because we were desperate for another opinion until the 2 month wait to get into a REAL doc. PLEASE don't go to him.i hope i can save someone else from going through this kind of treatment.i'm sure your already in enough pain you don't need to be treated like crap on top of it.
