Dr Berg performed a MOHs surgery for an epithelial squamous cell carcinoma on my nose. Excellent work, he was patient, explained everything clearly, and answered all my questions. I can hardly even see the scar even when I look close. No recurrence after 4 years

Several years ago Dr. Berg removed a tumor located in the left temple area of my face using the Mohs surgery technique. When I returned to his office for the removal of stitches Dr. Berg told me that because of the large size of the tumor there was a small chance that my lymph nodes had been affected and that a CAT Scan was advisable to find out. His office made arrangements for me to get the CAT Scan the same day. No lymph node problem was found but the scan found potential cancer in my thyroid. Subsequent testing revealed that I had thyroid cancer and when my thyroid was removed by Dr. John Ryan it was found that my thyroid was "riddled" with cancer which would likely have been fatal had it not been discovered prior to the emergence of symptoms.

Dr. Berg and Staff were very professional and provided excellent care! Highly recommend!

Avoid this doctor unless you want to look like Al Pacino in "Scarface". I went in for a routine removal of a tiny spot and ended up with a huge disfiguring scar. Don't believe his before and after pictures!

Dr Berg's technical skill is matched by his ability to communicate and care about his patients. He is the premier Mohs surgeon in the NW. You can not find a better doctor in any field!

Dr Berg did a Moh's procedure on my cheek 13 years ago at UW. He did an excellent job. He was very compassionate and communicative. He very clearly laid out my options regarding the ways he could stitch me up and what kind of scar I could expect. When I needed to have another basal cell removed, I called Dr Berg, even though I live in Olympia and traffic is awful. He referred me to a plastic surgeon to make sure my nose will still look (and function) well after he removes the cancer. Andrea is very helpful and prompt at the front desk, and Dr Berg and the rest of his staff are taking great care of me right now.

Dr. Berg has provided our family with the best of care. He is approachable, skilled easy to talk to, provides answers to questions, even when the answers are difficult to hear. He explains issues and procedures and has a great personality. We trust him and that is why we travel to see him at least twice every year. Highly recommended to all.

I have a skin condition that needs close monitoring and frequent surgery. Dr. Berg has done a fantastic job over the last 20 years of keeping me out of serious trouble in what is a complicated skin disorder. Particularly noteworthy is that he consults with doctors in other specialties such as radiation therapy and refers me to them when needed. Dr. Berg is a good doctor and he's a good guy too. I strongly recommend him.

This was my first time going through this process and I couldn't have asked for a more caring, competent doctor. He understood my fear and helped me work through it. Dr Berg and staff were incredibly patient, understanding and always available if I needed them. They treated me with respect, kindness and compassion during this emotional time in my life. I would recommend them to anyone that has to go through this.

Dr. Berg has been treating me for almost 10 years. I have a rare condition that requires me to consult a dermatologist for cancer about every 3-4 month. I can honestly say that Dr. Berg is the best doctor that I have ever seen. In my opinion, his skill as a surgeon and care for his patients is unmatched. He truly listens and cares about you. And he gains your trust and confidence in his surgical expertise. I have had many experiences with doctors in my lifetime. Both good and bad. I can honestly say to anyone who is considering seeing Dr Berg, that I solidly recommend him. He is a special find in his field.
