Dr. Burkhead graduated at the top of his class from USC Dental School in 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Science, Biology Degree from the University of California San Diego, graduating with High Honors in 1978. Dr. Burkhead is proud to have served our country as a member of the U.S. Navy. During his naval duty, Dr. Burkhead was an Instructor at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego.
Outside of the office, Dr. Burkhead enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing many outdoor activities.
