Dr. Daniel Leo Collins, MD

I was seen today and basically my money was taken, my insurance was billed, and I was sent away. Dr. Collins did absolutely nothing for me. Basically told to deal with my pain and no follow up was needed. So out to the parking lot in tears I went. I then drove over to OrthoCarolina and went to their urgent clinic and was worked in to see one of their spine doctors. Long story short, I am now having to see a spine surgeon and having some injections next week to try to help ease some of my pain. I have two fractures on one vertebra (DR. Collins was able to see my MRI but I really don't think he looked at it) and sent me away!!!! Not to mention the fact that i have scoliosis that is not helping matters either. I am a 33 year old single mom and i work 40 hours a week. Not out looking for pain medications or anything like that. Just wanted somebody to help me!! Thankfully OrthoCarolina is here!! It's sad too. I am also a Novant Employee and I thought we were supposed to take… care of each other, not just take money and run. I will never recommend him to anyone!!

The most up front and honest doctor I've ever met! Excellent patient advocate. Extremely intelligent and thorough. The staff is great and very helpful! The best Dr. in Florence.

Dr Collins was my Dr. for many years and i consider him a very smart and caring Dr. who put his patients first!!!
