Dr. Daniel Robert Colopy, DO

As a patient of dr colopy. His caring and sincerity completely went out the door. Nearly 8 yrs ago i started going to him. He was then a caring Dr. As the yrs went by he started to throw insulting remarks at me. A yr and half ago i went to him he insult me by my age and my mentality. Quit going to him for over a yr. Last week i went to him for anxiety and depression. And other issues. While i showed up approximately 20 min early. I was taken to the room. Waiting for him for 1 hr and 12 min. Listening to him chat with a patient. When he came to to me. He seem alright until i explain to him. He would not let me finish he started too holor and degrade me. I didn't ask for any drug of any sort. He did however tried to push them on me accusing me of wanting to sell them or just there to get them. Telling me my anxiety was my fault. Depression was my fault. It is all your fault he said to me. HE has become a heartless Dr. This is my second review. The first one was taken down. If you need… a caring good Dr. Dr colopy is NOT the one Disappointed in him to say the least. Shame on you Dr colopy

Been a patient for 8yrs.

This man is uncaring and arrogant.

When I first started going to Dr colopy. He was caring sincere devoted. As a few years past he started degrading me about my age. At first I let it go.. The last time I was there he got loud and obnoxious. Rude. Telling me that I'm to old to do this and that. I'm only 55.. That was not the first time I heard this from him I'm currently looking for a a new physician.

He told my grandma she had 5 years left to libe and by not coming to appointmesnt constantly she was cutting that down to 3 ( which isn’t true he just wanted to scare her into showing up to make it easier on him) and when she complained of a terrible cold for months he was aggravated and lamed it on her being old (she’s in her mid 60’s) she went to urgent care later to reveal she had Ann upper respiratory infection and an abseced tooth. I had him when I was younger as well and he is definitely the bare minimum and a pathetic excuse of a doctor it’s no wonder he’s located such a small town. So I don’t recommend him unless you want someone to mock and make you feel as though by being a patient you are Inconveniencing him. I would give him zero stars if I could but i don’t inebriate anyone to feel as horrible as she felt.

I was recommended to Dr. Colopy through family. They all raved and I was sold. I went in and he seemed nice enough, but when I told him my medical problems he laughed and seemed annoyed. It took me a year to convince him that i needed certain meds even though I had previously been prescribed by another DR. And instead of encouraging me with some of my heath issues he yelled and called me lazy. I will not be back... kinda sucks finding a new physician though. But it has to happen because I've spent too many visits crying in my car after an appointment.

I had been searching for a new primary care physician for awhile, since my PCP had moved out of the area. I had been referred to Dr. Colopy by a friend and called for an appointment. Was given one right away. The office staff is always very courteous. Dr. Colopy is quick to diagnose and has not erred yet, with me. Great personality and takes time to listen and asks lots of questions. A really good doctor. I've never had to wait for weeks to get an appointment like I did with my previous doctor.

very rude and does not look to help you just looks for your co-payment and charges your insurance outragous

I took my son to urgent care in Wheelersburg, Ohio. We didn't have to wait and were seen immediately. The staff was super nice and so was Dr. Colopy. I loved this doctor. He knew exactly what was wrong with my son and he had a very pleasant personality. I would also like to add that the staff was outstanding. I highly recommend this doctor and the urgent care.
