Down to earth, patient, and thorough are the three traits that come to my mind thinking about Dr. Cooper. After listening to the history of my latest medical problems he proceeded to explain slowly and in detail his suspicions using pictures and my CT scan and how he recommended we proceed with my case. When he mentioned cancer, I was noticeably shaken, he then took great care in explaining the reasons for his diagnosis and made sure I knew I should call him with any questions leading up to our pre-op appointment including encouraging, if I chose, a second opinion. Before and immediately after the surgery to remove my kidney, his patient calm demeanor helped to ease my concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Cooper

Dr. Daniel Cooper was my Urology Surgeon in the diagnosis, and treatment of my prostate cancer. As a retired Navy man, my pride was severely damaged with this news. Dr. Cooper thoroughly and completely reviewed and explained in great detail, all of my options that were before me. I chose to have robotic surgery for removal. Everything that was explained to me about the surgery, recovery and healing were right in line with what I had previously been told by him. What that did for my psyche as well as my physical recovery was beyond more than I expected. All of my follow-ups were met with extreme compassion and care, as I bombarded him with question after question, which he answered calmly and patiently. Again as a proud man who was very sexually active, this cancer was an extreme blow to my lifestyle. Dr. Cooper was very proficient in his ability to get me to see the reality and positive possibilities I had moving forward, which did a lot for me in accepting my circumstances. … Because of this, I am not ashamed of the support, and modalities I use to have a great quality of life. Dr. Daniel E Cooper, in my opinion, will be a GREAT ASSET to any practice he is associated with, and I hope to be able to have him assist me in the future, if I develop any condition that his expertise and skill will be able to solve for me.
