Ventura Orthopedics is a very well run medical office. Visiting a doctor is never a fun thing but this office makes it very pleasant. Everyone nice and knowledgable. Especially Dr. Davis. Have been seeing him many years for my knee/OA issues including surgeries. Orthopedic issues are very tricky and thru Dr. Davis' knowledge and guidance I have been able to sustain daily activities and a difficult job. Will definitely continue to see him if any more issues arise in the future.

Dr. Davis was able to see me on such short notice, and he & his staff are truly amazing. My first visit exceeded all expectations and I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

Dr. Dan is the best! Makes you feel at ease and explains things in a way that you can understand! The staff is so nice too!

Dr. Davis has treated me twice, most recently for a torn meniscus in my knee which he was bow to repair surgically. He is caring and takes the time I need to address my concerns and needs. Surgery was excellent and at 4 months post op I have regained much of my function with my knee. I met Dr. Davis in 2018 after a fall which resulted in a fractured right arm, at the shoulder joint. A very painful injury with a long recovery, but no surgery required. Dr. Davis took excellent care of me then and I have great function and strength in that arm now. He is a talented and caring doctor who listens to his patients.

I went to the doctor because I had a previous knee replacement over 5 years ago and I started having knee pain which is getting worse and not only is my knee having difficulty bending and snapping but the alignment from the knee down severely extends to the right. Had X-rays done and the doctor already had his mind up that there’s nothing wrong. I have a foot drop and he actually called it a deformity and blamed it on that. Honestly a deformity? He went on to suggest that maybe I should consider having my foot fused. What? I also showed him X-rays of my total spinal fusion and how deformed that is at this time and pointed out that my hips are severely misaligned and asked if that could cause part of my problem considering that my leg is about an inch longer than the other. He said he doesn’t know anything about the back....WOW REALLY! Shouldn’t the first thing an orthopedic surgeon learn is the skeletal system? I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. DANIEL DAVIS TO ANYONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!

I have had several injuries that Dr Davis treated. Ankle Fracture, knee challenges and a Tib/Fib fracture. Rehab from all of them was tough, but the PT's all brightened up when I told that that Dr Dan did the surgery. He is known by the local physical therapists as the best surgeon in the area. Some people have said that they are frustrated by occasional long waits to see him, but realistically that is because he is in such high demand and some appts take a few minutes and some a lot longer and it is hard to predict. Simply stated, I feel lucky that I access someone as talented as Dr. Davis.

Dr. Davis has been helping me with broken bones and other assorted issues for over a decade. He has gone above and beyond to see that I get the help I need. With his move to Ventura Orthopedics, he is not only still my trusted ortho but the staff is great also.
